During their freshman year at UPenn, Christopher and Christian founded Amikka Learning to help families navigate the challenges of standardized testing and college admissions.

Now with a team of 100+ tutors and AI-powered learning solutions, Amikka helps students reach their target SAT/ACT scores, improve their grades, and earn acceptances to their dream schools.

The Challenge

Amikka Learning started as a local tutoring company in Miami, growing steadily through word-of-mouth, referrals, and a strong reputation in the South Florida community.

Early success came naturally—families would search for tutoring services on Google, find Amikka’s strong reviews, and reach out.

But as the business matured, one major challenge became clear: Amikka needed more customers to keep growing.

Referrals and organic search traffic helped drive momentum at the beginning, but after two years of stagnant sales, they realized that growth was limited. If Amikka was serious about scaling the direct-to-consumer business, they had to generate demand—not just capture it.

Despite the effort and investment, none of these channels delivered the profitability, efficiency, or scale they were looking for. Traditional marketing—like print, TV, and mailers—felt like an outdated option for reaching people spending most of their time online.

  • Google Ads and SEO only reached people already searching for tutoring—without the ability to proactively attract new customers.

  • Built a conversion funnel that aligned their targeting, website experience, and sales process
  • Collaborated with their media buyer to create ad designs and messaging optimized for performance
